convenience stores—selling different products, using different systems and sending
different data. Applying your policies to every purchase, a key benefit of a fleet card, relies

increase and standardize the product code details we receive.

Purchase Controls are designed to help tame this complicated network of merchants
and help you begin to control what is being purchased in addition to where purchases are
being made. Wright Express is able to check product codes against your card profile limits
whenever product-level detail is provided through the merchants’ systems. If a transaction
exceeds any of your limit values, our system is designed to decline the transaction, subject
to the limitations described in the Important Information section of our online Profile
Manager. Enforcement of these limits depends on merchants’ systems and participation.

Because “one size doesn’t fit all”, we make it possible for you to create as many different
card Profiles as needed to fit the vehicle and driver. For example, a sales force driving
sedans requires different purchasing guidelines from delivery drivers using step vans.
